Photographer and writer.
Managing Director and Founding member of Wild Wonders of Europe.
Founding Fellow of the ILCP (International League of Conservation Photographers).
Nature Photographer of The Year in Sweden, 2001.
Winner of 11 awards in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. 4 awards also in the German European Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. "Nature image of the Year" 2009 in the "PGB Awards". Author of 9 books: The Big Five, Ajunngilaq, I Arktis, Ourson Brun, Den lilla boken om Vargen, Den lilla boken om björnen, Ecotouring/Safari, Wild Sweden, In the Arctic Wind.
Three of them awarded the title Panda Book of the Year by WWF.
Exhibitions in France, Canada, Finland, Norway, Germany, Japan, Italy, Monaco, USA, France and Sweden.
One of the founders of the Swedish National Carnivore Information centre, called Rovdjurscentret De 5 Stora, inaugurated by HRH The King of Sweden in June 2005.

Favorite story subjects: where man and nature meet, and the different results of it.
Speaks 7 languages: Spanish, French and German, apart from English and Swedish/Danish/Norwegian. Can communicate also in Italian and Portuguese. Knows some Greek, Swahili, Finnish, Arabic and Russian.
Earlier career: Picture editor, tank officer at Captains rank, during 15 years a tour leader and tour production manager for nature tours.

Type of photography: Reportage, always outdoors - the relation between Nature and Man being my main focus since many years. Ecotourism, fishing, hunting, travel, environmental issues, wildlife watching, wildlife and landscapes.
Favorite Camera and Lens: Nikon D3X and Nikon D3, most used lenses Nikkor VR 600/4, wideangle Nikkor 14-24/2,8 and macro MicroNikkor 105/2,8 VR
Favorite Tripod set: Gitzo GT 5541 LS with a leveling unit GS5121LVL on top, for the heavy lenses. Very stable and sturdy, not heavy in relation to its stability. Gitzo GT 3530 LS for macro and lightweight photography, birdwatching telescope, longer hikes etc.
