Now in its 30th year, the premier Sports Photography Workshop convenes July 19-24, 2012 at the U. S. Olympic Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Our faculty draws top professionals from organizations such as Sports Illustrated, the Associated Press and the New York Times, including editors looking to hire new talent. Throughout the week, the nation's most prolific sports photographers and editors share their creative and technical insights, as well as provide the guidance and networking to advance your own careers. To round out the experience, top manufacturers supply the latest photographic technology and specialized training to participants for the week.

Included in the instructional sessions will be lectures on remote camera installations, large arena lighting, and the business of freelance sports photography. Many participants of this workshop have gone on to shoot for the top sports magazines in the country. This workshop is best suited for professional and advanced-amateur photographers who are self-motivated.
