The castings are made of Soulid 238®, our unique technical compound 30% lighter than magnesium but just as strong and with great vibration dampening properties. We've incorporated a Basalt center column (20% lighter than aluminum) for further weight reduction and to improve stabilization and performance.Most importantly, the aluminum tube used for the legs is also new: 30% lighter than its predecessor, with Anti Leg Rotation system (ALR), 1.2mm wall thickness and brushed matte black finish for improved locking performance and minimized reflectivity.We've also put technology to work on the leg warmers: light, soft and with a new ergonomic design that maximizes grip and comfort when the tripod is carried over the shoulder.New aluminum tripods feature the Ground Level Set and removable feet.
